Niche marketing is marketing products in tightly focused areas of interest, and preferrably something that gets a lot of search activity as people are looking for solutions to a problem (so they will gladly pay for a solution). You should spend a lot of time on research. You must find a market that is actively searching for a solution. Don’t create a product and then go in search of a marketet. If you do could (and likely will) go horribly wrong. If no one is searching for what you have to offer you are not likely to make any money. Don’t waste your time. Find a hungry market and feed them.
How do you find a hungry market? That’s easy. Keyword research. Using Google’s free keyword tool you can brainstorm general topics and note the phrases that people are typing into the search engines around this topic. The Google Wonder Wheel is also lots of fun to play with for this as well. Not sure what that is? Google it. You’ll see.
Now, once the research is done and found your market you will need to find or create a related product to sell. Your options range from creating a content site and monetizing with Adsense and or CPA offers to affiliate marketing to creating your own ebook or software to sell.
I can almost hear you thinking “Wait, didn’t you say this was fast and easy? Yes I did, but this part isn’t. The easy way to do all of the above is obviously to get someone else to do it for you. It has to be done, and someone has to do it. But, it doesn’t have to be YOU.
This is where I would tell you to hire a ghost writer or programmer to create your product … if it wasn’t so darned expensive. No, that’s not the right way to go on a tight budget, so that’s not what I’m saying either.

Private label rights allow you to put your own name (or a pen name) on a product someone else created and sell it as your own to keep 100% of the profits. You can also sell your PLR product through a service like PayDotCom and recruit an army of affiliates to do the promotional work for you.
My advice here is that you start with a good (and I mean REALLY good) PLR membership. The best of the best do all of the research I mentioned above to find niche markets that are hungry and searching for solutions. Then they create products specifically for that market. They create ebooks, audios, graphics, they write high conversion sales letters to sell the product and THEN … they pass that product to you.
